Monterey Visit part 2

Here are some more pictures I took while I was in Monterey. Monterey is just a magical place to visit. Once you move out of cannery row, there is so much natural wildlife that is not kept in glass containers. If you every make it for a visit, please walk along the coastal areas to observe a very diverse wildlife.

Southern Sea Otter wishing I would leave him alone
Crab feast. This little guy ate at least ten crabs while I was taking his picture. So cool to watch these guys crack open the crabs and just eat the good meaty parts.

I hope you enjoyed these pics. I really want to go back someday and stay for several days so i can shoot during the morning hours and the evening hours. I was told that the Pelicans in the evening are quite a site when dive bombing for fish.

After numerous attempts to post a comment, let's hope this works. Loved your pix. The jellyfish are gorgeous. Beautiful creatures are often brainless,(She said jealously)
You must take a waterproof camera and go to Moss Beach. The otters will come right up to the canoe. Great animals. Like dolphins they seem to get a lot of fun out of life.
Hope the girls first few days went well for them both.
